Sebastopol Hiroshima Peace Trees
Peace Crane Project, a local anti-nuclear group, will plant two Gingko Biloba trees at the Sebastopol Community Center, 390 Morris St., Sebastopol. They were grown from seeds of a tree that survived when the United States dropped an atomic bomb on Hiroshima, Japan, on Aug. 6, 1945. Speakers include Diana Rich, mayor of Sebastopol.
