Whether telling stories about the lives of others or one’s own life, storytelling is a playful social tool for harvesting the fruits of life’s experience – exploring the science and mystery of human connection, memory and gesture. Sharing part of the personal story of others who have influenced us long ago, offers a doorway into a deeper understanding of the gift’s others have given us in the past, whether trials or celebrations.

Storytelling around campfires enabled ancient ancestors to pool and share information about baffling problems that faced the village: wolves attacking, crops failing, or harsh weather prevailing. Today, it is often the virtual fire of the social media around which we gather to tell and listen the World story. What is it saying?
