Sebastopol Rotary Club’s Crab Feed

Sebastopol Rotary to hold Annual Crab Feed on Feb. 14 with all proceeds going to the Mark Sell Teacher Grant Program
The Rotary Club of Sebastopol will hold its annual Crab Feed on February 14, 2026, at the Holy Ghost Hall on Mill Station Road in Sebastopol.
For the past twenty-three years, the Crab Feed has raised almost $460,000 for grants to West County teachers. Since the grant program’s inception, there have been 1371 grants that have enhanced instruction and improved classrooms. We are proud of what the grants have accomplished, from providing supplemental reading and math materials, to creating student magazines, to providing 3-D printers and much more.
One thing all the grants have in common: Great teachers who have had terrific ideas to improve learning, but who were stymied because there was not money in their school’s budget to support them. If they wanted something, they would have had to pay out of their own pockets. We are delighted by being able to tell those teachers to keep their own money in their pockets; we’re happy to provide the funds instead.
The Club prides itself on the quality of the crab and wine, but the best part of the night is that for the price of a good meal, you’ve supported our kids and teachers.
There are two seatings for the Crab Feed: 5pm and 7pm. The meal begins with clam chowder and then moves on to the feast of consuming some 1600 pounds of the freshest crab. Wine is included in the price.
But there is more…. There is a great band, the Luv Rustlers, who will whip up a storm of joyful noise in the outer reception room. And, while enjoying the music, guests can view the product of the Crab Feed Art Contest, which any TK to twelfth grade West County student can enter if their school is participating. Last year, there were over 400 entries, showing real talent among our children.
Club President Kathy Hicks calls the Crab Feed “the best night of our year, when people can have a great time for a great cause.”
Tickets are available on the Sebastopol Rotary website, sebastopolrotary.com, or you can call 408-431-7820.
The ticket price is $85 per person. ($90 after 1/31/26)
