NBLA .918″ Type High Day Celebration Open Studio

Letterpress, or more specifically the invention of moveable type and the printing press was disruptive social media technology that impacted the world as we know it, and has lasted for more than 500 years, let’s see Twitter last that lo….oh yeah that’s right, it was X’d already.

Anyways, us printer letterpress type obsessed folks love to celebrate the specific standard height of moveable type, which is .918″ every year on 9/18.

So this year for Type High Day we are having an open studio printer party from 2-6pm at NBLA…which is behind Bee Kind and next to Handline with plenty of parking…

We will have formes on press to demo, items for sale, and light food and drink…for fun of course.
