Meet Your Neighbors (MYN) Emergency Prepaaredness Class

The Meet Your Neighbors (MYN) 90 minute free in-person class offers materials and informed discussion on increasing individual and neighborhood awareness about preparing for emergencies. As an ‘all hazards’ approach to preparedness, the MYN class highlights simple but effective topics to explore and understand to be better able to respond and recover from emergencies. The MYN program outlines ways for our neighborhoods to leverage ‘working together’ to increase resilience in the Sebastopol area.

An MYN booklet is provided and is used as a guide to help class attendees develop ideas and ways to begin ‘working together’ in their neighborhood. Additional support through a monthly MYN ‘Leader Council’ meeting is available to class attendees.
