Fall Flowers – Watercolor Workshop & Farm-to-Table Meal

Join local artist Hannah Day at Bohemian Flower Farm this fall for a one-day watercolor workshop and farm-to-table meal. Bohemian is a flower and vegetable farm located in Occidental, across the highway from Wildflower Bakery. The farm is known for their colorful arrangements filled with unique flowers and foliage, and for their farmstand that sells their produce alongside their bouquets, wreaths, and fresh lemonade. The class will gather in the farm’s old barn, around a large wooden farm table filled with autumnal abundance – colorful straw flowers and beautiful heirloom gourds – to paint a fall still life. Participants will work step by step through rendering our subjects with close observation, foundational drawing skills, and watercolor technique. With a mix of demonstration and individual instruction, artists of all experience levels can walk away with a meaningful creative experience. After painting, you will enjoy lunch, prepared by farmer Bree and made from produce grown on the farm.
