Interested in Climate Change Solutions, CoHousing or Zero Waste?

Two Acre Wood Cohousing is a 14-unit townhouse community located a handful of blocks from downtown Sebastopol. Promoting sustainability is part of our founding vision.

On September 27, 2025 we are celebrating our shared efforts, as well as a climate-positive milestone of multiple households producing 25% more energy than they use. The 45-minute tours will include visiting homes and other locations on the property.

We will be showcasing five models of electric cars, an integrated charging tracking system for our 11 electric vehicles, eight solar systems, four heat pump water heaters, mini-split heating and cooling, induction stoves and a series of beautiful gardens. In honor of North Bay Zero Waste Week – 10/11 – 10/18, we will also share a number of our Zero Waste practices.

Tours will be followed by Q&A sessions. A self-tour handout will also be available, but you will not be able to go inside any homes.

Bike parking will be provided on-site. Driving? Please carpool, if possible. Park at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, 500 Robinson Rd. Follow the signs south 1.5 short blocks and up our path to the Common House.

You also are invited to join us for the Happy Hour Potluck. Bring finger foods and beverages that don’t require lots of cleanup. We will supply cloth napkins, reuseable glasses and cups. Please bring your own plates and utensils. You do not need to attend a tour to join the party!
