Party with a Purpose: Goatlandia invites the Community to “Reggae to the Rescue”
Sonoma County’s favorite reggae band, Sol Horizon, headlines Goatlandia’s biggest “fun-raising” celebration of the year!
SEBASTOPOL, Calif. — Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary & Education Center invites the community to trade the traditional black-tie gala for flip-flops, island colors, and good vibes at Reggae to the Rescue, its annual fundraising celebration, on Saturday, August 22, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the sanctuary’s beautiful 36-acre property in Sebastopol. VIP guests are welcomed from 1:00–2:00 p.m., with General Admission beginning at 2:00 p.m. and continuing through 5:00 p.m. The event brings together live music, rescued farm animals, delicious food and drinks, and a shared commitment to creating a more compassionate world.
Headlining this year’s celebration is Sol Horizon, Sonoma County’s beloved reggae band, whose uplifting performances and loyal local following make them the perfect soundtrack for an unforgettable afternoon of community and compassion. Guests will enjoy tropical-inspired food from Goatlandia Kitchen, local beverages, time with the sanctuary’s rescued animal residents, games, auctions, and the joyful atmosphere that has become a hallmark of Goatlandia’s annual fundraising events.
Unlike traditional fundraising galas, Goatlandia’s annual celebration is intentionally designed to be welcoming, relaxed, and accessible.
Proceeds from Reggae to the Rescue directly support Goatlandia’s rescue, rehabilitation, and lifelong care of farm animals while helping expand the organization’s education programs that inspire kindness toward animals, people, and the planet. The sanctuary has become a beloved destination for families, volunteers, and visitors from throughout Northern California seeking meaningful experiences that connect compassion with action.
