SUMMARY:Bike SHORTS - Biking Film Festival to benefit the Sonoma County Bicycle Coalition
DESCRIPTION:Join us at 6:00pm\, May 20th at the Rialto Theatre in Sebastopol to Celebrate National Bike Month. As part of our impetus to get folks rolling on bikes again\, we have put together a series of short films that feature the accessibility of cycling at ANY age! \nThe evening will feature Kidical Mass\, In The Dirt\, and Cycling Without Age\, films that celebrate the joy of cycling and highlights the many ways bicycles benefit our communities and environment. \nThe films include stories about intergenerational connection through programs like Cycling Without Age\, the culture and creativity of cycling\, and the environmental benefits of choosing two wheels over four. \nWe are also partnering with the Sebastopol Senior Center\, who operates a Cycling Without Age trishaw program\, which gives older adults the opportunity to experience the outdoors and community connection through shared bike rides. It’s a beautiful example of how cycling can build community across generations.
