DESCRIPTION:Learn how to save a life! \nFocusing on recognizing and treating life-threatening situations in the critical minutes before 911 arrives\, we will cover adult and infant CPR\, AED use and handling choking\, as well as what to do in cases of severe bleeding\, sudden illness\, heart attack\, stroke and more. \nThis is an American Red Cross-certified blended learning class: 50% online learning and 50% instructor-led. After booking you will receive a link directly from the American Red Cross with instructions on how to log in to complete the online portion of the class. This can be done at your convenience before we meet in person to practice our new skills with your friendly and experienced instructor. \nWe’ll be using modern manikins and equipment in a small-group setting\, and answering questions along the way. Your American Red Cross certificate will be valid for 2 years. \n(This community class event is held at a branch of Sonoma County Library. We thank them for their hospitality.
