DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, May 3\, from 1 to 2 pm\, the new Sebastopol East Entrance Sculpture\, entitled\, “Sebastopol Spire”\, by local and international artist Ned Kahn\, will be officially dedicated in a public opening ceremony. \nThis beautiful\, symbolic sculpture is located just off the Highway 12/Bodega Avenue entrance to Sebastopol\, just north and west of the bridge entering town from Santa Rosa. It’s sited along the future extension of the Americorps Trail. \nThis sculpture has been funded by the City of Sebastopol and approved by the Sebastopol City Council. The location and sculpture were determined by the Sebastopol Public Arts Committee. \nThe Public is welcome to attend. The artist\, Ned Kahn\, Sebastopol City Council\, local Tribal and Laguna Association reps\, and other dignitaries will be present.

DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, May 3\, from 1 to 2 pm\, the new Sebastopol East Entrance Sculpture\, entitled\, “Sebastopol Spire”\, by local and international artist Ned Kahn\, will be officially dedicated in a public opening ceremony. \nThis beautiful\, symbolic sculpture is located just off the Highway 12/Sebastopol Avenue entrance to Sebastopol\, just north and west of the bridge entering town from Santa Rosa. It’s sited along the future extension of the Americorps Trail. \nThis sculpture has been funded by the City of Sebastopol and approved by the Sebastopol City Council. The location and sculpture were determined by the Sebastopol Public Arts Committee. \nThe Public is welcome to attend. The artist\, Ned Kahn\, Sebastopol City Council Member Sandra Maurer\, local Tribal leaders\, Laguna Association reps\, and other dignitaries will be present.

Next\, a nourishing lunch\, crafted by a local chef with fresh\, wholesome ingredients will be offered in a magical creekside setting beneath the shade of oak and bay trees. \nDuring the afternoon join La Reina Marshall\, a local 500 RYT for a restorative slow flow yoga practice followed by guided journaling spring intentions and reflections for personal renewal and growth. We will start with a ninety minute slow flow yoga practice followed with longer prop supported yin holds\, ending with a restorative practice coupled with a body scan mediation. \nComing out of our physical practice you will have an opportunity to be guided through reflective journaling and intention setting while having the opportunity to share in group discussion. Wrap up this healing experience with a group reiki infused sound therapy session with the intention to integrate and to complete your day. You’ll wrap up this experience filled with replenishment and renewal; feeling supported\, nourished and held in community. \nPlease bring a yoga mat\, journal and water.
