It’s What You Fed It.\nSpeaker: Zayne Turner\, Workato\nAbstract: When your AI agent fails\, the instinct is to blame the model: try a different one\, adjust the prompt\, add more context. But most agent failures aren’t model problems. They’re design problems. This talk looks at what happens inside an agent at runtime\, why naive tool design compounds failure\, and three principles for improving agent performance — drawn from an open-source hotel operations system built to demonstrate the patterns at production scale. \n​Tech Talk 3: AI Wants to Be Local: Beating the Cloud on 30MB of RAM\nSpeaker: Pete Warden\, Moonshine AI\nAbstract: Today many people assume that cutting-edge AI requires massive data centers. But if you’ve ever used a voice interface that takes two full seconds to respond\, you know the cloud is failing the user experience. In this talk\, you’ll learn how rethinking transformer architectures with variable input windows and incremental streaming cache can drop latency to near-instantaneous levels and shrink RAM footprints down to less than 30MB.
