With rare titles like “Indigo Blueberry” and “Rebel Star Fighter”\, your tasting will include a wide range of flavor profiles\, tomatoes that look identical but taste opposite\, and that come in all shapes and colors. Your tomatoes will be served with local bread and cheese\, and presented with passionate musing by farmer Jai\, whose knowledge is expansive and excitement is infectious.\nAfter your tasting\, you’ll spend time looking even closer at your favorite selections of the farm’s yield. Seated in the farm’s lush outdoor space\, instructor Hannah Day will walk you step by step through rendering your subjects with close observation\, foundational drawing skills\, and a unique approach to watercolor technique. With a mix of demonstration and individual instruction\, artists of all experience levels can walk away with a meaningful creative experience.

DESCRIPTION:The Meet Your Neighbors West County Program (Formerly Sebastopol MYN Program) is providing a collaborative workshop to help you and your neighbors to adopt and adapt useful preparedness information and ideas in your neighborhood or area. By coming together with 1 or 2 or 3 (or more!) neighbors to the workshop\, there are more eyes\, ears and minds taking in and adapting proven preparedness steps to fit for your hood. The MYNWC Workshop promotes collaboration and working together in our neighborhoods to extend our capabilities to prepare and respond to local emergencies. The Workshop revolves around 3 basic questions: Who needs What? Who has what? Who knows what? \nSince the inception of the neighborhood approach to emergency preparedness in our local area in 2010\, those 3 questions have come up consistently as important prompts in seeking answers or solutions to questions or problems while considering preparedness. Bring a neighbor or two and your thoughts about those 3 questions for your neighborhood to the next Meet Your Neighbors West County Basic Preparedness Workshop.

DESCRIPTION:We’re pleased to announce the exciting plans we have in store for The 39th Annual Russian River Watershed Cleanup on Saturday\, September 20\, 2025! We’re looking forward to gathering again with you to show the river some love and care when the summer comes to a close. The September cleanup is our largest of the year and helps remove trash that accumulates over the summer months on the Russian River. This year\, there will be teams across the watershed from Ukiah to Monte Rio all contributing with the shared mission of protecting our river and ocean from trash pollution. This year\, we’re aiming to beat our 2024 record\, when 600 volunteers removed 9.45 tons of trash and 119 tires—and we can’t do it without you. We encourage you to join in the spirit of stewardship\, community\, and fun. The Russian River is our most valuable natural resource and benefits our entire community – your support is very much needed and appreciated!
