DESCRIPTION:Join us at 6:00pm\, May 20th at the Rialto Theatre in Sebastopol to Celebrate National Bike Month. As part of our impetus to get folks rolling on bikes again\, we have put together a series of short films that feature the accessibility of cycling at ANY age! \nThe evening will feature Kidical Mass\, In The Dirt\, and Cycling Without Age\, films that celebrate the joy of cycling and highlights the many ways bicycles benefit our communities and environment. \nThe films include stories about intergenerational connection through programs like Cycling Without Age\, the culture and creativity of cycling\, and the environmental benefits of choosing two wheels over four. \nWe are also partnering with the Sebastopol Senior Center\, who operates a Cycling Without Age trishaw program\, which gives older adults the opportunity to experience the outdoors and community connection through shared bike rides. It’s a beautiful example of how cycling can build community across generations.

The nursery sales will include fruit trees and perennials\, and advice in building your productive and beautiful 2025 garden. The cider press will be operating from 11 am onwards\, apple tasting will start at 11:30 AM. Music from local folk band Jam Nation will begin at noon\, and an expert talk on fruit tree care will begin at 1 PM. Join us to celebrate and help build our green future together! With support from Slow Food Russian River\, The Press Fest 2023 will feature garden walks\, docent tours\, demos of apple pressing\, perennial and fruit tree sales\, apple tasting\, and more. The nursery sales will include rare Burbank plants\, and advice for planting trees and perennials in building your productive and beautiful 2024 garden. The apples will be ready to eat\, and the sun will hopefully be shining as we celebrate and help build our green future together.
