SUMMARY:Restorative Yamuna Body Rolling with Lucibel Nuñez
DESCRIPTION:Register HERE for this popular monthly Yamuna class.  July guest instructor is Lucibel Nuñez. \nRestorative Yamuna Body Rolling (YBR) releases tension in the body while creating strength and flexibility. Using a Yamuna ball\, we will anatomically roll through tight and misaligned muscles. This creates Body Sustainability by working out stiffness and improves range of motion by creating space in the body. YBR can help prevent injuries and heal breakdowns. \nABOUT YOUR INSTRUCTOR \nLucibel Nuñez brings over 16 years of experience in the fitness industry\, with a deep passion for movement\, healing\, and personal transformation. She previously owned and operated a group fitness studio in Santa Rosa for nine years\, where she cultivated a strong sense of community and empowering wellness experiences. For the past decade\, Lucibel has also worked as a transformational coach\, supporting both her own growth and that of others through intentional\, holistic practices. \nCurrently pursuing her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy\, Lucibel is expanding her work to integrate mental\, emotional\, and relational health with physical well-being. Her approach focuses on treating the whole person rather than isolated symptoms. In her Yamuna Body Rolling classes\, she creates a space that fosters alignment\, self-awareness\, and sustainable transformation from the inside out. \n

SUMMARY:Flora & Fauna - 6 Week Watercolor Course
DESCRIPTION:In this 6 week course\, participants will learn a unique approach to watercolor\, intended to alleviate the frustration that many experience when learning this beautiful yet challenging medium. The class will focus on strengthening one’s observational skills\, giving the artist a foundation off of which to build their paintings in a step by step layering process\, that trains the artist to see value and color \nOur subjects will be flora and fauna – a sampling of plants and animals – fruits\, florals\, foliage\, and four legged friends. These subjects are great for beginners and experienced watercolor painters alike; their organic shapes make them forgiving drawing subjects\, but their beauty can be a muse for life. \nThis class will work from life and from photos\, practicing basic drawing skills in addition to watercolor technique. With six class sessions\, participants will have the opportunity to develop their skills and build muscle memory with a medium that often feels like it has a mind of its own. \nAll materials provided. \nLocation: 755 Petaluma Ave\, Sebastopol\, CA \nDates: 6 Sundays – May 17\, 24\, 31\, June 7\, 14\, 21 \nTime: 1 – 4 pm \nRegistration Fee: $300 \nAges: Adults \nSkill Level: All Levels

SUMMARY:Sonoma AI
DESCRIPTION:This is an in-person event! Registration is required in order to get in. \nTopic: Sonoma AI Meetups for remote tech workers\,\nto build a North Bay AI community\, collaboratively learn\, share ideas\, and network with others who are building the future of AI. \nWhat we’ll do:\nMeet & learn about AI tools\, AI infrastructure\, and AI best practices – with food + wine. \n4:00 – 4:25 – Welcome/Networking/Checkin\n4:30 – 4:55 – Shagun Bhatia\, Senior Software Engineer\, Atlassian\n5:00 – 5:25 – Zayne Turner\, Staff Developer Advocate\, Workato\n5:30 – 5:55 – Pete Warden\, Founder & CEO\, Moonshine AI\n6:00 – 7:00 – Networking \nTech Talk 1: Your AI Pair Programmer Hates Your Tech Debt Too\nSpeaker: Shagun Bhatia\, Atlassian\nAbstract: Tech debt is a problem every engineering team knows is real\, but rarely has the time or clarity to tackle systematically. It compounds silently – slowing down feature work\, increasing bug rates\, and making onboarding painful – until it’s too expensive to ignore. In this talk\, I’ll walk through how we built an AI-assisted tech debt workflow at Atlassian that goes far beyond static analysis. \nTech Talk 2: It’s Not the Model. It’s What You Fed It.\nSpeaker: Zayne Turner\, Workato\nAbstract: When your AI agent fails\, the instinct is to blame the model: try a different one\, adjust the prompt\, add more context. But most agent failures aren’t model problems. They’re design problems. This talk looks at what happens inside an agent at runtime\, why naive tool design compounds failure\, and three principles for improving agent performance — drawn from an open-source hotel operations system built to demonstrate the patterns at production scale. \nTech Talk 3: AI Wants to Be Local: Beating the Cloud on 30MB of RAM\nSpeaker: Pete Warden\, Moonshine AI\nAbstract: Today many people assume that cutting-edge AI requires massive data centers. But if you’ve ever used a voice interface that takes two full seconds to respond\, you know the cloud is failing the user experience. In this talk\, you’ll learn how rethinking transformer architectures with variable input windows and incremental streaming cache can drop latency to near-instantaneous levels and shrink RAM footprints down to less than 30MB. Discover why the future of AI isn’t in the cloud\, but right on your device\, completely private and offline. \nWho Should attend:\nAnyone interested in talking and learning about developing Agentic AI Apps. \nWhere:\nThis is an in-person event. Registration is required to get into the event. Registration in advance will close 2 days before the event.

SUMMARY:Train Talk
DESCRIPTION:Railroad historian and former Northwestern Pacific and Southern Pacific officer Fred Codoni will discuss the history of the railroad in Sonoma County\, from the early horse-drawn streetcars – ‘horse car lines’ – to the formation of the Petaluma & Santa Rosa Railroad (P&SR) that went through Sebastopol. The current West County Museum in downtown Sebastopol was the terminal. Fred Codoni’s collection of over 14\,000 railroad images across this history represents a powerful and unique set of artifacts that bring to life an amazing century of change across transportation\, manufacturing\, and rural life. He has worked for the railroad industry since 1956\, and is the last surviving member of the Northwest Pacific Railroad. As a member of the Western Railway Museum\, Fred often ran P&SR passenger car No. 63 at the Western Railway museum at Rio Vista junction\, the only remaining operating car from that railroad. \nThis talk is a project from the Western Sonoma County Historical Society. It will be preceded by a short update by the society board about what is happening at the Historical Society.

SUMMARY:Why Dieting Doesn't Work
DESCRIPTION:The Path to Health is not about quick fixes\, chemo\, or endless diets. Whether we are dealing with arthritis\, cancer\, or obesity\, the underlying root cause of disease is almost always the same: it is a toxic internal and a toxic external environment that blocks the body’s natural ability to heal. \nDuring this event\, Carmen will reveal how to recognize the hidden roots of disease\, release toxic burdens on a physical and emotional level\, and create the conditions for true healing. Step by step\, you will be guided toward a lifestyle of balance\, vitality\, and freedom — a path to lasting health. \nThis event includes a PowerPoint lecture and is part of a new series on health\, wellness\, and natural healing offered by Carmen. The presentation will be clear\, structured\, and easy to follow\, and includes Q&A. \nAbout Carmen\nCarmen Baudi helps people uncover the root causes of disease and take charge of their health and wellbeing. \nA medical journalist and author with training in homeopathy\, media and culture studies\, and dental technology\, she guides clients toward lasting wellness with a holistic approach. \nAs a Certified Natural Health Coach under Dr. Edward Group\, she is part of his Gold Team Master Class and therefore a member of the Global Healing Institute as well as the American Association of Natural Wellness Coaches. \nShe has brainstormed for years with her close colleague David Avocado Wolfe\, sharing insights on detoxification\, nutrition\, and holistic wellness.\nCarmen empowers people to become their own “body whisperer.” \nShe helps clients listen to their bodies\, respond intuitively\, and reclaim vitality through her detox program\, weight management\, frequency work\, and creating toxin-free living and work spaces. \nFor Carmen\, knowledge is freedom\, and helping others achieve lasting health\, energy\, and independence is her greatest mission.
