SUMMARY:Lobster Bash
DESCRIPTION:Sebastopol Rotary Club hosts “Lobster Bash”.\n5pm to 10pm on Saturday\, October 11\, 2025\nFriedman Event Center \nSebastopol Rotary puts the “fun” in fundraisers. An event you don’t want to miss. \nThere will be great food – starting with a 1-1/2 pound fresh lobster for dinner with shrimp\, corn\, leeks\, sausages\, and potatoes cooked to perfection. Cocktails\, wine\, beer\, and appetizers will be included along with a salad\, bread and butter\, and of course tasty desserts. \nThere will be live music\, dancing\, a heads or tails game\, a raffle\, live and silent auctions. \nFunds raised from this event will go to some great youth and community programs. These include youth leadership programs in the middle and high schools\, leadership camp\, scholarships for youth that have overcome serious obstacles in their young lives (e.g.\, homelessness\, cancer\, eating disorders)\, camp for 8-12 year olds that are experiencing mental or physical abuse\, continuance of our Learn-to-Swim program for second graders (saving lives since 1984)\, the Mark Sell Teacher Grant program\, books for children 0-5 years through the Dolly Parton Imagination Library\, community grants for local businesses\, rebuilding local parks\, and even a few International programs (e.g.\, eradication of polio throughout the world\, vocational training for unwed mothers in Uganda). You are likely familiar with our recent project where the Sebastopol Rotary clubs helped to rebuild the fence around the duck pond at Willard Libby Park. We put the fun in giving back where it is needed most.
