It is an important component & taught in context to the process of yoga. Designed to harness prana (life force energy)\, purify & balance the nadis (energy channels)\, awaken subtle energy & still the mind. Not limited to just well-being. Not a quick fix or forceful temporary cathartic experiences\, but taught as a safe & gradual process requiring discipline & consistency. \nRelease toxins\, clear and align the energy channels\, strengthen the lungs\, massage\, tone & nourish internal organs\, strengthen agni & digestion\, oxygenate and improve blood flow\, strengthen immunity & clear the mind. Implement various techniques to purify\, energize\, focus & calm the mind & nervous system & harness the vital life force energy – with kumbhaka & bandha (breath holds and internal locks). Known to increase neuroplasticity\, nitric oxide\, and erase old mental and emotional patterns.
