It is usually attended by a vibrant & diverse bunch of welcoming and friendly people\, some of whom have practiced Soul Motion® for years\, while some ~ never before. \nWhat to expect \nGuidance and structure are part of every week’s class as we travel across the four landscapes of Soul Motion®:\nDance Infinite (prayer space)\nDance Community (ensemble)\nDance Communion (duet)\nDance Intimate (solo) \nPractices\, structures\, and points of view are offered to facilitate the journey. Participants are invited to travel across all landscapes\, not just their favorite one: dancing by oneself\, in duet\, in ensemble with several people and eventually the whole room\, or witnessing in stillness the beauty of another’s or of everyone’s dance. \nBody Prayer offers a place to be safely uncomfortable as we experiment with ourselves and with each other in our awkward and magnificent dance at the edge of possibility. \nNo experience necessary! Birds are integral to our ecosystem\, playing key roles in a variety of natural processes such as seed dispersal\, predation\, pollination\, scavenging and ecosystem engineering. Nevertheless\, they have been facing threats to their survival globally. Please join us as we sing their praises in our exquisite bird-centric program. \nThe Acorn MusEcology Project is a 22-voice choral ensemble based in Sonoma County\, California\, composing and performing original music that explores our collective role as caretakers in our relationship with our animal and plant brethren and living systems. Concert programs are created to advance the causes of environmental stewardship—toward the rediscovery\, healing\, and reimagining of a vibrant planet beyond our own time.
