DESCRIPTION:BODY PRAYER IS A FACILITATED EVENT DEVOTED TO INQUIRY INTO EMBODIED CONSCIOUSNESS THROUGH MOVEMENT. \nThis class is offered every Sunday morning\, and led by Zuza Engler or another teacher. It is usually attended by a vibrant & diverse bunch of welcoming and friendly people\, some of whom have practiced Soul Motion® for years\, while some ~ never before. \nWhat to expect \nGuidance and structure are part of every week’s class as we travel across the four landscapes of Soul Motion®:\nDance Infinite (prayer space)\nDance Community (ensemble)\nDance Communion (duet)\nDance Intimate (solo) \nPractices\, structures\, and points of view are offered to facilitate the journey. Participants are invited to travel across all landscapes\, not just their favorite one: dancing by oneself\, in duet\, in ensemble with several people and eventually the whole room\, or witnessing in stillness the beauty of another’s or of everyone’s dance. \nBody Prayer offers a place to be safely uncomfortable as we experiment with ourselves and with each other in our awkward and magnificent dance at the edge of possibility. \nNo experience necessary! Everyone welcome!

Prereleases happen the week before the set’s full release\, so it’s your first chance to play with the new cards in a casual tournament setting. Each player receives six booster packs and one promo card\, and uses those boosters to build a 40-card deck with which to battle. For each match you win\, you earn a booster pack as a prize!

DESCRIPTION:Bring the family and enjoy an afternoon of learning about various techniques in the world of fiber arts! \nWatch local artists demonstrate their techniques\, including cyanotypes\, botanical dying\, pom-pom making\, and fabric scrunchies! \nMichelle F. is a crafter and artist that works in a variety of mediums including fiber and metal. She has been creating since a young age and prefers things to be colorful and messy. \nMelinda F. is a local crafter that has led felting classes and is experienced in knitting\, crochet\, weaving and sewing. She’s an experimenter at heart and loves to try new things. \nKathryn D. is a life long quilter\, fabric dyer and surface design artist who tries to make crazy ideas come to life in fabric. \nPenelope L. is a local artist and recycler working in soft sculpture and its intersections. She also has a ponytail that requires scrunchies to maintain\, which inspired her specially-curated educational program for this event. \nFree for members\, donations accepted!
