Our goal is to entice new gardeners and provide them with the resources they need to start their Spring gardens as well as to create opportunities for members of the community to come together in a service project. DESCRIPTION:On Sunday\, April 13\, 2025 from 2-4pm \, a special event will be held to celebrate the power of poetry and benefit SebArts’ Literary Arts Program. The event invites friends\, family\, and neighbors to come together and share poems that have touched their hearts. The event will feature a reading or recitation of a favorite poem\, with a sliding scale of $35/$45/$55. Your ticket includes a beautifully handmade ceramic mug\, from our ceramic studio. The event will be led by Larry Robinson\, MC of Rumi’s Caravan\, and co-host Dave Seter\, the current SoCo Poet Laureate. Participants are invited to submit a poem that speaks to them and share a brief reflection on its significance. The deadline for submission is March 17th\, 2025 . Whether you’re a seasoned poet or a first-time reciter\, this event is for everyone who appreciates the beauty of words. Light refreshments will be served\, and we’re excited to hear the poems that inspire you.
