DESCRIPTION:Please join us for this tandem talk with Charlie Schneider of California Trout and Troy Cameron of Trout Unlimited about saving salmon in the Laguna de Santa Rosa Watershed. Charlie will present on research conducted by volunteers using passive integrated transponders to monitor water quality and track coho salmon movement in the Laguna de Santa Rosa. The Laguna is not traditionally thought of as salmon habitat\, but may be important to the recovery of these endangered species. Troy will present on efforts in the Russian River and Mark West Creek to monitor streamflow and recover coho salmon.
