SUMMARY:Kids For Compassion Summer Camp
DESCRIPTION:Goatlandia’s Kids For Compassion Summer Camp is back!\nThis year\, we are offering a unique experience\, combining all ages 6 – 12 into one fun-filled week of outdoor education\, compassion and animal friends! \nJuly 22-26 at Goatlandia Farm Animal Sanctuary in Sebastopol \nRegistration Fee\nis $395 which includes snacks and lunches\, a Goatlandia camp t-shirt\, and a gift bag \nEligible Applicants\nwill be ages 6 – 12 years old \nClass will be 30 students maximum\nand two age groups: 6-9 and 10-12\, with a goal of 15 spots per age group. \n4 Scholarship spots available\nTwo per age group\, 6-9 and 10-12. Previous scholarship recipients are not eligible for scholarships. \nCurriculum:\nAll campers will enjoy morning greeting time\, lunch and end of day sessions together\, and then split into groups for age-specific activities and projects. \nIn addition to outdoor education\, campers will also enjoy various activities including a goat hike\, kids yoga\, and a plant-based ice cream taste test! \nCampers will learn from expert guest speakers on specialized topics such as animal behavior and physiology\, nutrition and healthy eating\, environmental practices\, compassion\, and equity and inclusion. \nA family group tour for all camp families will be on the last day of camp\, along with free passes to join a weekend group tour.

DESCRIPTION:Come see the last weekend of the 2024 lavender high bloom in Bloomfield. Each visitor ticket fee will include admission\, parking and an optional (free)\, 10-minute VIP tour of the property including lavender fields\, beehives\, and distillation laboratory. The farm store will be open selling all our fresh lavender\, lavender essential oils\, olive oil and honey products. Picnic tables by the farm pond will be open for everyone’s use (first come\, first serve) during their 75-minute time slot. Take a walk all around the lavender fields and see the scenic views of the hills and Russian River vineyards.
