Zero waste is a philosophy that promotes reuse, recycling, composting and conservation programs, and emphasizes sustainability by considering the entire life-cycle of products and systems.

LEARN the why’s and how’s of Zero Waste – at home, work, school and events. FIND OUT why the Bay Area is considered a hub of the global Zero Waste Movement. DISCOVER what local advocates, our communities and state are doing to curb climate change, increase recycling, create jobs and help move us toward a green economy. All ages welcome!

This fun, interactive event is presented by Zero Waste Sonoma County and the Z-Term – Zero Waste USA volunteers sponsored in part by a grant from the Altamont Education Advisory Board.
