For Ages 13-22

In this class for teen girls, students will increase their skill and ability in both avoiding dangerous situations and defending themselves in a wide range of dangerous situations such as dating violence, sexual battery, sexual assault, sexual harassment and abduction. This class emphasizes being strong, smart and confident and developing a strong inner foundation of self-love, self-respect, self-confidence and self-esteem. In this class, we also talk about effective ways to handle peer pressure, the importance of trusting your intuition and being true to yourself.

And, it is important to say that despite the heavy topics, this class is FUN! Students have fun and feel empowered as they learn powerful and effective physical, verbal and psychological self-defense skills and as they learn how to stand up for themselves in more common, daily interactions. Students consistently say that they feel more confident and capable of defending themselves after taking this class.

*Lesbian, bisexual and transgender (M2F) women are welcome in my classes.
