Today’s “high” art market is a connivance of money and mayhem. Artists, dealers, collectors, and auction houses all have a hand in works selling in the millions of millions. Looking at images of works, we will consider artists, such as, Richard Diebenkorn, Damien Hirst, Jeff Koons, Francis Bacon, Cindy Sherman, Gustav Klimt, Jackson Pollock and Mark Rothko.
