Members and friends of WSCHS will gather at the historic Burbank Farm in Sebastopol for the quarterly meeting on June 15th from noon to 3pm. The general public is also welcome to attend.
Local archeologist and historic preservation expert Stacey De Shazo, M.A. will enlighten us about “Rediscovering Sebastopol’s Forgotten Chinese-American History”. Stacey holds a Master’s degree in Historic Preservation from Savannah College of Art and Design and a Bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from San Francisco State University. She has over 16 years of experience in historical architectural and cultural resources survey, identification, and evaluation. She is a Principal of Evans & De Shazo, Inc. in Sebastopol.
This event is a potluck lunch. Please bring something to share and your own table setting, silverware, and napkins. The event is free and open to everyone.
Luther Burbank’s Experiment Farm is located adjacent to the Burbank Heights Senior Housing complex at 7777 Bodega Ave. in Sebastopol.
