Transforming Our Food System: A Conversation with the Author and Radical Farmers

Location: 13024 Green Valley Road, Sebastopol, CA 95472
When: Sat, Mar 21, 2-4 PM
RSVP deadline: Mar 14
Welcome spring by joining us for an in-person event celebrating James Beard Award-winning Nancy Matsumoto’s latest book, Reaping What She Sows about women in regenerative agriculture. Matsumoto will be in conversation with another James Beard Award recipient, farmer Mai Nguyen, and diversified farmer-rancher Aubrie Maze regarding how they are changing our broken industrial food system into a regenerative, local, and ethical one. Don’t miss your chance to meet the author, learn about regenerative agriculture, sample food from Mai and Aubrie’s farms, and tour the farm and mill. Get inspired by the work being done in Sebastopol and around the country—see you there!
Free admission. Please RSVP on Eventbrite by Mar 14; there is an option to pre-purchase a book so you can get your copy signed. We welcome donations to support mentorship of female farmers.
Co-hosted by Farmer Mai, Celebrating Womxn’s Leadership in Food, and Climate Farm School.
