‘Tracking My Money’ for Kids was developed for elementary school students in order to have them think of their money as more than something they immediately spend. In a playful and conversational manner, they are shown that it is ok to think and talk about money, how to use it and understand that they can be smart with their money. Tracking My Money uses a tried and true method for managing money that goes back to ancient times – the envelope. Steve Miksis, a CPA and manager at Linkenheimer CPAs & Advisors, was part of the team that created the program and will be leading this award winning financial literacy workshop for kids.
