Six Parks and a Cemetery Walk

5 Miles, about 3 hours, Easy pace

This is a dog friendly walk, (bring your good dog) and will be led by a canine from the Humane Society of Sonoma County. No dog, no problem—come anyway. Starting at the Plaza we walk to Ives park and hear a short presentation about possible future improvements. Continuing to the Luther Burbank farm, a docent from the Historical society will tell us about Burbank’s work there, and then on to the cemetery. In a long forgotten corner there are many headstones written in Japanese. Who was buried here and what were they doing in Sebastopol? We return through Willard Libby Park, the West County trail and the Skategarden park.

Bring water (especially for your dog) and a snack.
