Is it broken? Don’t throw it away! Bring it to be repaired.
A Repair Café is a gathering in which volunteers repair household electrical and mechanical devices, jewelry, computers, bicycles, musical instruments, toys, clothing, etc. It is organized by and for local community members. Its objectives are to reduce waste, to maintain repair skills and to strengthen social cohesion.
The event is free and open to the public.
There may be nominal costs for the parts to repair your items and donations are welcome!
Volunteers needed
It takes 50-75 volunteers to put on a community-wide Repair Café event. We have fixer and non-fixer slots available.
