Wouldn’t it be great if we could swap the help we need for the help we can give? We can! With the Sebastopol Area Time Bank.
The Sebastopol Area Time Bank allows members to offer services to, and request services from, members of our local Time Bank community. We “bank” hours for services rendered and “spend” hours for services received — each transaction constituting an “exchange.” No money changes hands and all work is equally valued. To date, members have completed close to 8,000 hours’ worth of exchanges. That’s a lot of rewired lamps, well-organized closets, and games of backgammon!
Membership is free. To qualify you need to call Sebastopol your home, be at least 18 years of age, and attend a one-hour, Orientation scheduled for the 10th of each month from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. On Zoom, of course.
