Science Buzz Cafe # 443 Catastrophism & Earthquakes: Extreme Geologic Events w/Richard Ely – Geology Dude
Richard will discuss some of the most extreme geologic events known to earth scientists. Included will be descriptions of the largest known earthquakes, fault movements, volcanic eruptions, landslides, tsunamis, rainstorms, climate changes, mass extinctions and geomagnetic storms. What can we expect locally? What questions do you have? Ask a geologist.
Chocolate rewards will be in the room.
