There is a difference between reading a story and truly telling a story. Learn how and why. Marianna’s book and workshops explore the art and craft of storytelling and its use as a pedagogical tool for helping children and teenagers meet and overcome their challenges.
Hear about the ages and stages for telling the right story for almost any life situation. Teachers and parents can make use of the wide array of existing fairy tales, myths and legends or make up their own! Stories can be integrated into most any activity or curriculum.

Marianna is a retired Waldorf grade school and high school teacher who has been telling stories for over 40 years. Her workshops blend storytelling and child development serving parents, teachers, child care
professionals and storytellers. Her book ‘The Right Story at the Right Time’ is a result of her experience in the classroom with students and her years of giving storytelling workshops in Europe, Asia and North America. Back from living on the Sea of Cortez, Marianna lives in her home in Sebastopol with husband Keith.
