Plant for the Planet Academy

Plant for the Planet U.S., a 501c3 non-profit, is sponsored by the United Nations Environmental Program and organized locally by Climate Change Recovery (ClimateChangeRecovery.org). Plant for the Planet Academies provide children and their communities the chance to learn how to take meaningful action on Climate Change, both by planting trees and particularly by developing in youth the skills to work with local officials and organizations to change policy and lower carbon emissions.

The Academy will be led by student Ambassadors and by Pam Vergun, Program Coordinator for Plant for the Planet.
