OAEC Garden Tour

Join us for a guided tour of the Occidental Arts & Ecology Center’s demonstration gardens and living landscapes. Led by rotating OAEC staff, these tours offer an opportunity to explore our diverse food, medicinal, pollinator, and native plant gardens while learning about the ecological principles that guide our work.
When: Tours start at 1pm every first and third Saturday of the month, April through October.
Where: Tours start and end at the OAEC Nursery. 15290 Coleman Valley Rd, Occidental, CA 95465. Upper Driveway.
Important Information:
No registration required—just show up!
Please use the second driveway and park in the upper lot near the greenhouses.
The tour route includes steep hills and unpaved dirt and gravel paths. Sturdy shoes, a brimmed hat, and weather-appropriate layers are recommended.

A highlight of every tour is the OAEC Nursery, a nonprofit nursery dedicated to uplifting ecologically and culturally important plants. The nursery features a wide selection of perennial food crops, medicinal and native plants, and an ever-evolving collection of annual vegetables and herbs adapted to our region.
