Meet Your Neighbors West County (MYNWC) – Basic Preparedness Workshop

The Meet Your Neighbors West County Program (Formerly Sebastopol MYN Program) is providing a collaborative workshop to help you and your neighbors to adopt and adapt useful preparedness information and ideas in your neighborhood or area. By coming together with 1 or 2 or 3 (or more!) neighbors to the workshop, there are more eyes, ears and minds taking in and adapting proven preparedness steps to fit for your hood. The MYNWC Workshop promotes collaboration and working together in our neighborhoods to extend our capabilities to prepare and respond to local emergencies. The Workshop revolves around 3 basic questions: Who needs What? Who has what? Who knows what?

Since the inception of the neighborhood approach to emergency preparedness in our local area in 2010, those 3 questions have come up consistently as important prompts in seeking answers or solutions to questions or problems while considering preparedness. Bring a neighbor or two and your thoughts about those 3 questions for your neighborhood to the next Meet Your Neighbors West County Basic Preparedness Workshop.
