Making Rings with Fine Silver Metal Clay
“In this one day workshop, students will create beautiful rings, ready to wear home!
Mary Neuer Lee, a jeweler and metalsmith all her adult life, has been working with and teaching metal clay techniques in Northern California since 2005. She is a Certified Metal Clay Instructor with the PMC Guild and Hadar’s Clay. Mary will provide all the supplies and tools needed to make beautiful and one-of-a-kind rings with fired-in-place stones. Her large collection of tools, textures, and materials will aid and inspire the student in creating their own unique rings. This workshop is limited to six students maximum creating a personal and hands-on learning experience in a small-classroom setting. Lectures, demonstrations, samples, ideas, and handouts will give the student knowledge of metal clay’s unique properties. Printed materials include instructions in addition to resources for students to continue their study and practice beyond the class.
Sign-up fee: $150
A material fee of $60 due at the time of the class will include silver clay, fire-in-place stones, polishing supplies, patina, handouts, use of all tools, and instruction”
