Non-Profit Final Passages’ monthly film and discussion evening continues with its July Movie: The Hours.

Starring Meryl Streep, Julianne Moore, Nicole Kidman, Ed Harris, Allison Janney, Toni Collette and Miranda Richardson.

Based on Michael Cunningham’s Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, we follow 3 women different generations over the course of 1 day: Virgina Woolf, writing Mrs Dalloway and contemplating suicide, an unfulfilled housewife reading the novel in 1951, and a woman caring for an author friend dying of AIDS in 2001.
