Saturday, December 16, 2017 9am – Noon
Meeting location: TBD. Details of the site location announced 1-2 weeks in advance of the workday.
Help care for the Laguna and restore critical wildlife habitat – and learn about the Laguna!
Each month we offer a different opportunity to take part in ensuring a brighter future for the Laguna. Tasks vary depending on the season and include removing old irrigation hardware from successful restoration projects, sewing seeds, planting native plants and trees, and weeding. Joining the Laguna Stewards is a fun and meaningful way to volunteer while enjoying the outdoors and sharing the company of like-minded people.
No experience necessary, just a willingness to learn. Training and tools will be provided, plus abundant and hearty snacks! Wear clothes and shoes that can get dirty. RSVP only if you are planning on bringing a group of 5 or more people so that we can have enough supplies. Only heavy rain cancels.
Location: Details of the site location announced 1-2 weeks in advance of the workday (various sites along the Laguna in Santa Rosa in Sebastopol, Rohnert Park and Cotati). Please check our website for more details, or sign-up for our E-News to be informed directly.
