Free Pop-Up Store for Fire Victims

The Sebastopol Chamber of Commerce and The Barlow will host a one-day, free pop-up store this Friday, October 20, from 8am to 7pm at The Barlow in Sebastopol where displaced fire victims and evacuees may pick up free, high-quality work clothing, toiletries, bedding, children’s clothing, toys, food and more.
The free pop-up store will be located at 180 McKinley Street, Suite #140 near Crooked Goat Brewing and Vignette Pizzeria in the heart of The Barlow. Distribution is open to anyone in need of assistance. No identification is required. No new donations will be accepted.
The following items will be available for free:
- New or gently used, high-quality, clothing for men and women
- Shoes for all ages
- New Toiletries
- New Bedding
- Camping equipment
- Luggage and bags
- Diapers, strollers, car seats, toys and children’s clothing
- Pet supplies and food
- Non-perishable food provided by the Redwood Empire Food Bank
“We all have friends or loved ones in need, many of whom who are returning to work despite having lost everything” said Jill McLewis, Executive Director, Sebastopol Chamber of Commerce. “Our goal is to provide quality clothing, food and supplies to those displaced so they can return to the workforce feeling confident and cared for.”
Donations from southern Marin County were organized and delivered by Larry “The Hat” Lautzker of the Famous 4 Our Look clothing store in Mill Valley and the Mill Valley Chamber of Commerce. The pop-up store will be staffed by volunteers from the Sebastopol Chamber of Commerce, the Rotary Club of Sebastopol, KRSH radio and The Barlow artisan community.
