Community Drum Circle 5pm March 28th

5PM Community Drum Circle with master conductor Kim Atkinson at 790 Hurlbut Ave Sebastopol CA.

Join us for a community drum circle and Pot Luck on Sat March 28th from 5 to 6pm. This is a play by heart session, primarily without words. Many drums provided, or bring your own.

This event starts at 1 pm and includes several artists including DJs and singers. There may be a jam session and more later in the evening. The event is a fund raiser for Miss Daisy’s where we have had many wonderful outside and inside events over the past 10 or more years. In my Drum Circles, I prefer to use mostly wordless, easy and short games to establish rapport with you all, find out the circle’s capacity and get the groove going. When appropriate, and if you ask, I can give a short lesson on how to hold, hit, and create a groove with the drum. Our goal is to establish unity and coherence to set the space for self expression. Ideally, I want get out of the way and support whatever goodness wants to happen
